In particular, the voice control system on the nav side leaves a heck of a lot to be desired. Found a fix for my 09 traverse, the rubber cable sheathing between the door and body holds water when it rains, so cut a small low point drain in it, disconnect it and use a wire drying compound on the connector and inside the sheath. hope this works for someone else.
